ANICP (National Association of Canned Fish Industry) was founded by Dr. Narciso Castro e Melo in 1977. Narciso Castro e Melo was general secretary of this important association for over forty years, contributing decisively to the political, economic and social direction sector and thus made history in the national canning industry.
It was with Dr. Castro e Melo that Can the Can began its collaboration with ANICP, with whom we have always maintained a friendly and cordial relationship. Affability is the characteristic that seems to us most suitable to describe this gentle, gracious, courteous and cordial man, that we really miss.
